About UsHi and welcome to our website, the home of Shinynuts. Just a few words to introduce myself and our business, that's has proved to be very successful.
I bought a TVR 4.5 Cerbera about 3 years ago having previously owned a number of different 911's. I've been actively involved with the Northants TVRCC over the past few years and joined the Sprint editorial team at the end of 2003. It's been great fun writing for the magazine and I've been lucky enough to drive some truly wonderful cars as well as meeting lots of TVR enthusiasts too. I'm a track day fan and really enjoy driving my Cerbera close to its limits on the track. For me, this is an essential part of the ownership experience with TVR.
When I put a set of Spider wheels on my Cerbera, they arrived with a new set of black powder coated steel wheel nuts that soon became rusty. I hunted high and low on the internet for some better quality ones but found nothing suitable. So I decided to have a set made from stainless steel. One thing led to another and here we are with more than 400 sets now installed on TVR's within Europe. We've taken special care to manufacture them to the highest quality and you can read about our special manufacturing process on the adjacent page.
Thanks to some nice comments posted on www.PistonHeads.com, sales have gradually taken off. In fact the name Shinynuts originated from one of the first threads posted by Gerry at www.bonneroute.co.uk on the PistonHeads Gassing Station. I was particularly pleased to receive an order for 4 sets of Shinynuts from TVR Engineering in time to go on their show cars for the 2004 Sunday Times NEC Motor Show. Not a bad endorsement for our Shinynuts!
